Patient Information

Background Information

Oral and Maxillofacial surgeons require between 4 and 6 additional years of hospital-based surgical and anesthesia training after graduation from dental school.  As Oral and Maxillofacial surgeons, Dr. Kalant or Dr. Pink manage a wide variety of problems relating to the mouth, teeth, and facial regions.  Our doctors practice a full scope of oral surgery with expertise ranging from dental implant surgery and wisdom tooth removal to corrective jaw surgery. This also includes techniques designed to rebuild bone structure with minimal surgical intervention and optimal patient comfort. Our Doctors can also diagnose and treat facial pain, facial injuries, and fractures.

Our surgical team is trained in assisting with Intravenous (IV) sedation and outpatient general anesthesia in our state-of-the-art office setting. Patients are continuously monitored during and after surgery until they are discharged from our office.  We will do a 24 hour post-operative follow up calls to check on patient recovery, that is our standard of care.  We will notify your referring doctor that your procedure has successfully been completed.

Surgical Team

Our surgical team for both Dr. Kalant and Dr. Pink are experienced, certified Oral and Maxillofacial surgical assistants, who assist in the administration of IV sedation and surgery. We also have trained registered nurses (RN) to assist in IV surgery procedures and verify patient health records and clearance.  All of our surgical and administrative teams are CPR certified.
